Design
Product design describes the process of generating, creating and implementing ideas that lead to the development of new products. The efficient and effective development of product design results in a product that meets the end-users needs or solves a specific problem.
At WORX, product design involves conceptualization and evaluation of ideas, making them tangible through products in a more systematic approach. Our role is to combine art, science and technology to create tangible three-dimensional goods, and to understand the end user customer.
Part of our product design process is to include industrial design parameters, and to combine aesthetic/artistic form and usability.
Development
In business and engineering, new product development (NPD) is the term used to describe the complete process of bringing a new product or service to market. There are two parallel paths involved in the NPD process: one involves the idea generation, product design and detail engineering; the other involves market research and marketing analysis.
Companies typically see new product development as the first stage in generating and commercializing new products within the overall strategic process of product life cycle management used to maintain or grow their market share.
WORX assists Client in all phases of the product development, from design, prototypes to mass production and marketing.
